Following an end-of-term school ceremony, the American boy Bobby decides to go with his friend Akkun into the mountains outside their village, to a place perfect for a secret base. On the way they stop into a mysterious amusement park. They have fun there, but are attacked and cannot leave. Falling in with some other children who are also lost there, they fend off a number of attacks, and gradually learn the truth behind the facility.

خلاصه داستان : کوئیچی اوئهارا یه دانش آموز کلاس چهارمیه که توی حومه شهر توکیو زندگی میکنه. یه روز یه سنگ بزرگ بر میداره که معلوم میشه فسیل یه بچه "کاپا" بوده که برای 300 سال زیر زمین خواب بوده، و اسمش رو میذاره "کو". اونا دوستای خوبی میشن و کو با خونواده کوئیچی زندگی میکنه. ولی کو توی زندگی با انسان ها یه مشکل داره اونم اینه که دلش برای نژاد خودش تنگ میشه.

A small, lone Kappa miraculously survives over 200 years into modern day Japan, when he is found by young Koichi. Coo, who is secretly adopted by Koichi's family, searches with his new human friend for unpopulated places in hopes of finding any remaining of his kind.
