خلاصه داستان : کریستینا فیشر برای گذراندن تعطیلات به همراه دوست دانشگاهی اش، فرانچسکو، به ساردینیا رفته است. آن ها در حین بازدید از این منطقه با تروریست های کوهستانی مواجه می شوند. فرانچسکو به گروگان گرفته شده اما آن ها به کریستینا اجازه می دهند که محل را ترک کند. او قصد دارد با پلیس تماس بگیرد اما بهترین دوست فرانچسکو، گمبینو، او را متقاعد می کند که از انجام این کار خودداری کند. آن ها به همراه یکدیگر به سراغ گروگان گیران می روند اما در این مسیر کریستیانا به همه، از جمله گمبینو، مشکوک می شود...

Christina Fisher arrives in Sardinia to spend a holiday with her university friend, Francesco. As they are touring the island, they are trapped by mountain terrorists. Francesco is kidnapped, but Christina is permitted to leave. She is determined to contact the police, but is persuaded not to by Francesco's best friend, Gambino. Together they try to find the kidnappers, but she becomes suspicious of everyone including Gambino. Confused and paranoid, she sets out alone to contact the police.

Marceau Léonetti, a competent and energetic officer stops by chance the son of an influential lawyer driving under the influence of alcohol. A few months later, the lawyer falsely accuses Léonetti as being violent and incompetent. As a result Marceau is transferred to a small police station, where he meets young and beautiful Jeanne. Soon they are faced with a tough investigation.
