Three Macedonian women have to contend with control over their bodies, tradition, loyalty, pregnancy and adoption. They have not set out to change the world or society, but their struggle to become mothers makes them unlikely heroines. The three bittersweet stories, one medieval, two contemporary, mirror and contrast one another, exploring themes of love, trust and motherhood.

خلاصه داستان : داستان در قرن نوزدهم در یک روستای دورافتاده در مقدونیه می گذرد. یک جوان دزدیده می‌شود و یک روح باستانی او را به یک جادوگر تبدیل می کند. حالا جادوگر جوان دوست دارد که دوباره انسان شود و برای این خواسته کارهای وحشتناکی را انجام می دهد...

In an isolated mountain village in 19th century Macedonia, a young feral witch accidentally kills a peasant. She assumes the peasant's shape to see what life is like in her skin, igniting a deep seated curiosity to experience life inside the bodies of others.
